1. Application of Paula and Tony Smith to rezone property located at the northeast intersection of Lloyd Road and I-20 from R75 to RA5 (conditional). The property has frontage of 180' on Lloyd Road, 708' on I-20 and contains 2.67 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of a 10-lot subdivision based on a preliminary subdivision plan.
2. Application of Pinnacle Southeastern, Inc. to rezone property located at the northwest intersection of Candler Road and I-20 from C-1 to OD (conditional). The property has frontage of 162' on Candler Road, 927' on I-20, and contains 6.97 acres. The application is conditioned on the redevelopment of the property for a self-storage facility.
3. Application of Joe Grady to change the name of Amblewood Court to Briarcliff Way. Amblewood Court is located on the east side of Henderson Mill Road opposite Briarcliff Way.
4. Application of The Waterton Group to alter the conditions of zoning as applied to property located on the south side of Memorial Drive, 1,150' west of Lauren Parkway. The property was zoned OI on May 23, 1978, for the development of a fraternal club with conditions regulating access, building height, paving, outside activities, and exterior building materials. This request is to delete all conditions so the property may be used for a private school.
5. Application of Nicole Clarke to change the name of Waldrop Road to Refreshing Way. Waldrop Road is located between River Road and Flat Shoals Parkway.
6. Application of J. M. Patterson to rezone property located at the southwest intersection of Miller Road and Wilkins Road from R-100 to RCD (conditional). The property has frontage of 824' on Miller Road, 851' on Wilkins Road, and contains 13.91 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of a subdivision with adjoining property based on a conceptual plan for no more that four lots per acre.
7. Application of Thomas Ravenel to alter the conditions of zoning as applied to property located at the northeast intersection of Columbia Drive and Elgin Drive. The property was zoned C-1 on December 19, 1968, conditioned on an 80' setback from the rear of the property line, a 6-foot chain link fence, a 50-foot planted buffer along the rear line, and dedication of right-of-way 50 feet from the center line of Columbia Drive. This request is to reduce the rear line from 80' to 50' and change the use from a gas station to an auto parts store.
8. Application of Raymond Gibson to alter the conditions of zoning as applied to property located at the southwest side of Covington Highway, 1,000' southeast of Redwing Circle. The property was zoned C-2 on November 23, 1993, conditioned on the use of the property for an auto repair and body shop. An administrative alteration was approved on May 7, 1996, to allow the property at 4367 Covington Highway to be used as a "hot-wings" business. This request is to add auto detailing, car wash, window tinting, gift and novelty shop at 4367 Covington Highway and picture framing, fashion design and clothing alteration at 4371 Covington Highway.
9. Application of the DeKalb County Planning Department to change the name of those portions of Memorial Drive located east of the Stone Mountain By-Pass and east of the city limits of Stone Mountain from Memorial Drive to James B. Rivers/Memorial Drive.
10. Application of Ashwood Development Company to rezone property located on the west side of Henderson Mill Road, 237' south of Briarcliff Way from R-100 to RM-100 (conditional). The property has frontage of 335' on Henderson Mill Road, 110' on Briarcliff Way and contains 3.53 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of a 34-lot subdivision based on a concept site plan.
11. Application of Atlanta Fixture and Sales Company to rezone property located on the westerly side of DeKalb Technology Parkway, 3,950' northeast and north of Chestnut Drive from OI to M. The property has frontage of 267' and contains 10.22 acres.
12. Application of BMR Development, Inc. to rezone property located on the west side of Tilly Mill Road, 124' south of Brafferton Way from R-85 to R-75 (conditional). The property has frontage of 165' and contains 4.5 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of a 13-lot subdivision with a private street based on a preliminary plan.
13. Application of Chattahoochee Plantation Associates to rezone property located on the west side of Happy Hollow Road, 218' north of Fontainbleau Drive from R-100 to R-A5 (conditional). The property has frontage of 155' and contains 1.75 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of no more than four units per acre.
14. Application of Hines Atlanta, Ltd., to alter the conditions of zoning as applied to property located at the northeast intersection of Ashford Dunwoody Road and I-285. The property was zoned OI on May 25, 1982, with numerous conditions related to access, road improvements, site plan, building height, and density. The conditions have been altered on five occasions, three times by the Board and twice administratively. This request is to add a 15-story office building on top of a 6-10 story parking deck (maximum of 25 stories, total). The structure would contain 266,000 square feet of rentable office space, 17,000 square feet of retail space, 18,000 feet of conference rooms and the parking deck.
15. Application of CC & S Development, L.L.C., to rezone property located on the southeast side of Buford Highway, 120' northeast of Corporate Boulevard from M to C-1 (conditional). The property has frontage of 65', on Buford Highway, 254' on Corporate Boulevard, and contains 1.88 acres. The application is conditioned on redevelopment of the property with a 100-room, 3-story hotel based on a site plan.
