Deferred applications from September hearings

Application of GOLDKIST, Inc. for the following variances to redevelop a 15 acre site at 244 Perimeter Center Parkway in accordance with submitted conceptual site plan;

  1. Increase maximum permitted height from 5 stories to 24 stories for each of 2 proposed office buildings,
  2. Increase maximum permitted height from 5 stories to 28 stories for proposed hotel,
  3. Increase maximum permitted height from 5 stories to 10 stories for each of 2 proposed parking structures,
  4. Increase maximum permitted height from 5 stories to 6 stories for proposed conference center.
The property is located in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of Ashford-Dunwoody Road and I-285. The zone is O-I.

Application of Liberty Development Corporation to amend the land use plan on property located on the north side of Wright Avenue between East Roxboro Road and North Druid Hills Road from LDR to MHR. The property has frontage of 756' on Wright Avenue, 550' on East Roxboro Road, 264' on North Druid Hills Road, and contains 15.7 acres.

The property was zoned R50 on March 25, 1998 subject to a site plan and other conditions. This request is to modify the site plan and change the condition related to the exterior of the structures.

Application of Civil Design, Inc. to alter the conditions of zoning as applied to property located on the northwest side of Brockett Road, 400' northeast of Cooledge Road. The property was zoned from OI on March 22, 1983 with conditions limiting building height to two stories with Williamsburg architecture. The conditions were altered on March 22, 1983 and again on July 26, 1994. This request is to replace all previous conditions with a new conditioned plan for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Associations headquarters.

Application of MBL Universal Enterprises, Inc. to alter the conditions of zoning as applied to property located at the southwest intersection of Miller Road and Wilkins Road. The combined properties associated with this application were zoned RCD on August 26, 1997 subject to conditions including minimum floor area of houses to be 1,700 sq. ft. and each house to have a two-car garage. This request is to allow the garage to be included in the minimum floor area of 1,700 sq. ft.
