1. Application of the City of Lithonia and Barbara A. Lester to change the name of Arabia Road to Wm. Grant Reynolds Drive. The street is located between Klondike Road and the Klondike Road/Main Street intersection. This application affects only that portion of the street located in the unincorporated area of the county.
2. Application of Floyd Twedell to rezone property located on the southwest side of Covington Highway, 912' southeast of Lithonia Industrial Boulevard from R-75 to M (conditional). The property has frontage of 251' and contains 2.30 acres. The application is conditioned on the use of the property for automobile sales, leasing, incidental repairs and other conditions.
3. Application of SNL Development,LLC to rezone property located on the west side of Phillips Road, 425' south of Marbut Farms Lane from R-100 to R-A5. The property has frontage of 351' and contains 14.56 acres.
4. Application of Fairmont Properties to rezone property located at the southeast intersection of Alford Road and Crooked Creek from R-100 to R-CH. The property has frontage of 882' on Alford Road, 696' on the north side of Wehunt Way, 299' on the south side of Wehunt Way and contains 72.18 acres.
5. Application of Robert W. Bookman to rezone property located at the south side of Rockbridge Road, 298' east of South Deshon Road from R-CD to C-1 (conditional). The property has frontage of 191' and contains 1.23 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of an automobile lube shop (minor auto maintenance).
6. Application of Harkleroad & Associates to rezone property located at the northeast intersection of Moreland Avenue and Cedar Grove Road from M to C-2 (conditional). The property has frontage of 189' on Moreland Avenue, 220' on Cedar Grove Road, and contains .89 acre. The application is conditioned on the development of a freestanding convenience store with a 4-island canopy.
7. Application of Value Storage, Ltd., to rezone property located on the south side of Snapfinger Woods Drive, 1,557' west of Wesley Chapel Road from OD to C-2. The property has frontage of 40' and contains 2.75 acres.
8. Application of Wendell Boatright to alter the conditions of zoning as applied to property located on the south side of South Hairston Road, 958' east of the centerline of Wesley Chapel Road. The property is part of a larger tract which was zoned C-1 and OI on 8/23/88 with a site plan and a list of conditions. This request appears to modify the site plan.
9. Application of BMR Development, Inc., to rezone property located on the west side of Tilly Mill Road across from Laurelwood Road from R-85 to R-75 (conditional). The property has frontage of 309' and contains 5.07 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of an 18-lot subdivision with a private street based on a subdivision plan and other conditions.
10. Application of Jolly Development Corporation, Inc., to rezone property located on the north side of Womack Road, 145' west of Shadow Glen Court from R-100 to R-50 (conditional). The property has frontage of 420' and contains 8.04 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of a detached single family subdivision with a maximum density of 4 units per acre.
11. Application of Hart Homes, Inc., to rezone property located at the southerly intersection of Kendrick Road and Tallulah Drive from R-100 to R-50 (conditional). The property has frontage of 69' on Kendrick Road, 147' on Tallulah Drive and contains .25 acres. The application is conditioned on development of a 2-lot subdivision plan and other conditions.
12. Application of Akin Developme Company, Inc., to rezone property located at the northeast intersection of Fair Oaks Road and North Akin Drive from R-100 to R-50 (conditional). The property has frontage of 320' on Fair Oaks Road, 389' on North Akin Drive and contains 2.33 acres. 13. Application of Jolly Development Corporation, Inc., to rezone property located on the north side of LaVista Road, 800' east of Sagamore Drive, from R-A5 to R-A8 (conditional). The property has frontage of 306' and contains 1.5 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of single family attached homes based on a plan.
14. Application of Lee's Funeral Home, Inc., to rezone property located on the northwest side of Lawrenceville Highway, 550' northeast of Harcourt Drive, from R-75 to OI (conditional). The property has frontage of 253' and contains 2.20 acres. The application is conditioned on the development of a funeral home based on a site plan and other conditions.
15. Application of William H. Oldknow to amend the text of the Zoning Ordinance Section 27-492(6)c., by adding a new permitted use identified as "motocros". The use would be added to the category which now permits carnivals, rodeos, horseshows, shooting events, athletic events and community fairs.
