Following is the ZONING BOARD of APPEALS Agenda for 1PM, February 14, 2001. Zoning Board of Appeals meetings are held at Maloof Auditorium, 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur.

Application of Bell South Mobility for a variance from Section 27-779 (c) (1) (a) of the DeKalb County Zoning Ordinance relating to the C1 (Local Commercial) District to reduce the required one-hundred (100) foot property line setback to eight (8) feet along the north property line, to five (5) feet along the east property line; a variance from Section 27-581 (c) (2) to reduce the building (equipment) setback line along the north property line from twenty (20) feet to (5) feet of which is planted and landscaped), to three (3) feet, and a variance from Section 27-581 (C) (1) (a) to reduce the required equipment building setback from seventh-five(75) feet to nineteen (19) feet (along Webster Drive) to allow for the construction of a telecommunication facility, inducing a one-hundred and sixty (160) foot high monopole and a 240 square foot related equipment building. The project site is located on the north side of Powell Lane, between Clairmont Road and Webster Drive.

Application of Korean Martyrs Catholic Church for a variance from Section 27-581 (c)(1)(a) of the DeKalb County Zoning Ordinance relating to the C-1 (Local Commercial) District to reduce the front yard setback from seventy-five (75) feet to sixty (60) feet (for a proposed building expansion of an existing nonconforming place of worship, and a special exception from Section 27-585 (I) to reduce off-street parking requirements from 267 parking spaces to 144 parking spaces to allow for renovation of a nonconforming place of worship. The project site is located on the southeast side of Buford Highway, approximately 1,132 feet northeast of Oakcliff Road.

The project site is boated on the south east comer of Allgood Road and Carnage Trial.

Application of Benchmark Group for a variance from Section 27-358 of the DeKalb County Zoning Ordnance relating to the transitional buffer requirements within the RM-85 (Multifamily Residential) District to allow for construction of a six (6) foot high chain ink fence (for security purposes) instead of the required six (6) foot high screen in fence required along property lines, in conjunction with a condominium development The project site is located on the west side of Bouldercrest Road, approximately 1,585 feet northwest of Key Road.

Walls for a variance from Section 27-146 (c) (4) (d) of the DeKalb County Zoning Ordinance relating R-100 (Single Family Residential) District to reduce the required front yard setback from thirty-five (35) feet to twenty-eight (28) feet, and to reduce the east (side) yard setback from ten (10) feet to seven (7) feet to construct a carport in the front of the existing residence. The project site is located on the west side of Panola Road, approximately 672 feet north of Snapfinger Woods Drive.

Application of Jeff Duke for a variance from Section 27-731 (c) of the DeKalb County Zoning Ordinance relating to accessory structures in the R-100 (Single Family Residential) District to allow pool to be located in the side yard. The project site is located on south east side of Evans Mill Road with its intersection with Belair Lake Road.

The project site is located on the southwest side of North Druid Hills Road, approximately 1,127 feet southeast of LaVista Road.

The project site is located on the north side of Standard Drive at its intersection with Pine Grove Avenue.

Application of Emerald Capital Investments, Ink. c./o Seyfarth Shaw for variances from Sections 27-206 of the DeKalb County Zoning Ordinance relating to the R-60 (Single Family Residential) District to reduce the front yard setback from thirty-five (35) feet to twenty-two (22) feet for Lots 1-3 and Lots 6-10, reduce the minimum lot width from seventy-five (75) feet to sixty (60) feet at the building line for Lots 4 & 5, and reduce the side yard setback from seven and one-half (7.5) feet to zero (0) feet for Lot 1, and to reduce the rear yard setback from forty (40) to ten (10) feet for Lots 1-5. the project site is located on the west side of McClendon Drive, approximately 155 feet south of Brook Drive.
