Application of Clara Clein for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Child Day Care Facility on property located in the R-100 zoning district. The property is located at the northeast intersection of Bentbrook Drive and Bentbrook Court. The property has frontage of 135 feet along Bentwood Court and 90 feet along Bentbrook Drive and contains .47 acres. The applicant is proposing to keep six children in her home Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Application of New Atlanta Jewish Community High School and Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Private High School in the R-100 zoning district. The property is located on the north side of Womack Road and southeast side of Tilly Mill Road. The property has frontage of 598 feet along Womack Road and 1551 feet along Tilly Mill Road and contains 53.5 acres. The applicant is proposing to construct a 110,000 square foot facility with up to 50 classrooms; a gymnasium; a chapel; administrative space; library/media center; dining area; adult education; and parking to accommodate up to 250 vehicles. The school will be used jointly by the applicants for educational purposes, but primarily as a high school for a maximum of 750 students run by the New Atlanta Jewish Community High School.

Application of Ranger Mechanical, Inc. for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Cemetery in the R-85 zoning district. The property is located on the northwest side of Ponce De Leon Ave. The property has frontage of 1481 feet along Ponce De Leon Ave. and contains 30.6 acres. The applicant is proposing to replace a 70 x 80 modular office building that was destroyed by fire.

Application of Emmanuel Frimpong for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Home Occupation with Customer Contact in the R-100 zoning district. The property is located on the northeast side of Flat Shoals Parkway approximately 90 feet southeasterly of Warriors Path. 'Me property has 135 feet of frontage along Flat Shoals Parkway and contains 1.49 acres. The applicant is proposing a Home Occupation (Accounting) with customer contact.

Application of The Episcopal Church of Holy Cross for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Place of Worship in the R-75 zoning district. Property is located at the northwest intersection of McAfee Road and South Columbia Place. Property has frontage of 245 feet along McAfee Road, 254 feet along South Columbia Place, and 61 feet along Rosewood Road and contains 6 acres. This is an existing place of worship. The applicant is proposing to construct a new administration/classroom building and add parking.

Application of Jacqueline Bumpers for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Child Day Care Facility in the R-100 zoning district. Property is located on the northeast side of South Stone Mountain Lithonia Road approximately 1218 feet southeasterly from George Road. Property has frontage of 177 feet along South Stone Mountain Lithonia Road and contains .973 acres. . Applicant is proposing to keep up to 6 children in her home between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM.

Application of Berean Christian Church for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Place of Worship in the R-100 zoning district. Property is located on the northwest side of Young Road approximately 163 feet northeasterly from Bell Circle. Property has 222 feet of frontage along Young Road and contains 16.082 acres. Subject property is currently vacant. Applicant is proposing to construct a 30,000 square foot (1,200 seat) sanctuary building that will house 17 classrooms and 10 offices; parking to accommodate 401 vehicles; proposed softball field; and proposed track.

Application of Calvary Hill Baptist Church for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Place of Worship in the R-100 zoning district. Property is located on the southwest side of Rock Springs Road approximately 291 feet southeasterly of Forrest Run. Property has 100 feet of frontage along Rock Springs Road and contains 7.87 acres. This is an existing place of worship. The applicant is proposing to construct a 7,370 square foot fellowship hall/classroom building and a 60-space parking lot.

Application of American Tower, L.P. for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Telecommunications Tower in the TND (R-CD) zoning district. Property is located on the west side of Janie Way a.k.a. Old Deshon Road, approximately 480 feet northwesterly from intersection of Deshon Road. Property has 283 feet of frontage along Rockbridge Road, 787 feet along Janie Way, and contains 9.65 acres. Subject property is currently undeveloped. The applicant is proposing to construct a 195 foot monopole structure, a 12 x 28 square-foot equipment shelter, and two additional equipment shelters for future carriers, all enclosed within a 60 x 60 foot fenced area.

10. SLUP - 00050

Address: 6133 Redan Road

Application of A. Vincent Pope & Associates, Inc. for Fairfield Baptist Church for a Special Land Use Permit to allow a Place of Worship in the R-100 zoning district. Property is located on the southwest side of Redan Road approximately 264 southeasterly from Young Road and on the southeast side of Young Road approximately 330 feet southwesterly from Redan Road. Property has 837 feet of frontage along Redan Road and 183 feet along Young Road and contains 38.1 acres. The property is current used as place of worship. The applicant is proposing to construct a new 2000 seat sanctuary building, gymnasium building, education/administration building, and parking lots to accommodate an additional 529 spaces for a total of 699 spaces.
